I’ve owned dogs for over 24 years and, for most of that time, I’ve had at least two dogs at once. I’ve also always been happy to help care for dogs belonging to friends and family, which has given me the opportunity to experience a wide range of breeds, personalities and individual requirements.

I’ve experienced life as a working professional, a home worker and a dog owner raising puppies, so I understand the challenge of always being able to provide your dog with enough exercise, attention and stimulation. Whether you need a little extra help during a busy day or simply want to give your dog some additional time outdoors, I believe Take The Lead can help.

I’ve always been someone who enjoys being outdoors, so walking is a genuine pleasure for me. My love of dogs and the outdoors is what inspired me to start Take The Lead. If I can combine two of my personal passions with my work, it seemed like a pretty good idea!

So here we are — formalising what has, until now, been a hobby, and doing our very best to provide a service that is reliable, trustworthy and attentive to every customer’s needs (and, most importantly, their dogs!). All delivered in a friendly and personal way.

My goal is to provide a service that allows dog owners to relax, knowing their dog is being well cared for, exercised and given plenty of attention. A happy, well-exercised dog makes for a happier and calmer home — and I get to meet lots of brilliant dogs along the way!
